Прокурорами Київської міської прокуратури спільно зі слідчими поліції за матеріалами ДСР Національної поліції України в Дніпрі викрито 62-річного чоловіка, який обіцяв допомогу у працевлаштуванні на посаду заступника керівника одного з Департаментів Офісу Генерального прокурора.

Він переконував, що, нібито, має зв’язки з «першими особами Офісу Генерального прокурора» і може вирішити питання про працевлаштування як до Офісу так і в структурні підрозділи обласних прокуратур.

Ціна питання – 25 тис євро. З яких 15 тис. необхідно було заплатити одразу, а 10 тис. вже після призначення на посаду.

З метою конспірації чоловік просив перераховувати гроші на криптогаманець, а не особисто в руки.

Після того, як частину суми йому перерахували, чоловіка затримали в порядку ст. 208 КПК України.

Затриманому готується повідомлення про підозру в закінченому замаху на шахрайство та у закінченому замаху на підбурення до надання неправомірної вигоди службовій особі, яка займає відповідальне становище (ч. 2 ст. 15 ч. 5 ст. 190, ч. 4 ст. 27 ч. 2 ст. 15 ч. 3 ст. 369 КК України).

Зазначимо, що затриманий є обвинуваченим у іншому кримінальному провадженні за вчинення аналогічного злочину. Теж за гроші пропонував працевлаштування до оборонної компанії. Справа перебуває на розгляді в Подільському районному суді міста Києва.

Примітка: відповідно до ч.1 ст. 62 Конституції України особа вважається невинуватою у вчиненні злочину і не може бути піддана кримінальному покаранню, доки її вину не буде доведено в законному порядку і встановлено обвинувальним вироком суду.

Fraudster detained for promising to employ girl in a managerial position at the Prosecutor General's Office for EUR 25,000 

Prosecutors of Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office along with police investigators, based on materials of the Strategic Investigations Department of the National Police of Ukraine's in Dnipro exposed a 62-year-old man who promised to assist a girl to get a job as deputy head of one of the departments of the Prosecutor General’s Office. 

He claimed to have connections with “top officials of the Prosecutor General’s Office” and to be able to resolve issues of employment both in the Office and in the structural units of Regional Prosecutor's Offices.

The price was EUR 25,000, of which EUR 15,000 had to be paid immediately and EUR 10,000 after appointment to the position.

For the sake of secrecy, the man asked for the funds to be transferred to a crypto wallet rather than handed over in person.

After portion of the amount was transferred to him, the man was detained pursuant to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Notice of suspicion is being prepared for the detainee for completed attempt to commit fraud and a completed attempt to incite to provide an illegal benefit to an official holding a responsible position (part 2 of Art 15, part 5 of Art 190, part 4 of Art 27, part 2 of Art 15, part 3 of Art 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

It should be noted that the detainee is accused in another criminal proceedings for committing a similar crime. He also offered employment at a defense company in exchange for. The case is pending in the Podilsky District Court of Kyiv.

Note: pursuant to part 1 of Art 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict.
