The investigation into the man who sold "PVP" for UAH 100,000 has been completed. The case was referred to the court

Prosecutors in Donetsk region have sent an indictment to court against a native of Kostiantynivka under Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — illegal acquisition, storage, and sale of psychotropic substances in especially large quantities. He faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

In July 2025, the man decided to make money by selling psychotropics, organizing an interregional supply. In Dnipro, he adapted a rented apartment into a hideout where he stored the purchased "PVP," "amphetamine," and "mefedrone."

Next, following the plan, the accused transported part of the substances by train to Kramatorsk. There, he sold a package of "PVP" to a local resident for 100,000 UAH.

The illegal activities of the accused were uncovered and stopped by law enforcement. During authorized searches at the drug storage locations, about 2.2 kg of psychotropic substances were found, with a value on the "black market" of 4.4 million UAH. Cash, scales, and packaging bags were also seized.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk region with operational support from the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
