The Office of the Prosecutor General is the central body in the prosecution system. It began its work on January 2, 2020, in accordance with the order of the Prosecutor General.

The functions of the prosecution are defined by the Constitution of Ukraine and are carried out to protect the rights and freedoms of individuals, as well as the general interests of society and the state.
