The prosecutor's office ensured the collection of funds from a private joint-stock company for the use of a 50-hectare plot of communal land in Zaporizhzhia without proper legal registration.

It was established that for a year and a half, the company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of abrasive products in Eastern Europe, did not enter into a lease agreement with the Zaporizhzhia City Council, and therefore did not pay rent for the use of the land. 

The court granted the claims and ruled to collect from the joint-stock company the income obtained from the unjustly acquired property. In execution of the court decision based on the claim of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, from April to July 2025, the debtor company paid over 11.7 million UAH to the budget of Zaporizhzhia.

Overall, since the beginning of 2025, thanks to the consistent and effective implementation of the prosecutors' representative powers in similar cases of violations of land legislation, the local budget of Zaporizhzhia has received over 17.5 million UAH.
