The director of one of the communal institutions of the Kyiv Regional Council has been exposed for demanding and receiving an unlawful benefit of 15 thousand dollars for influencing the employees of the Military Medical Commission with the aim of being removed from military registration.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the head of the communal institution was exposed and today, June 25, he was detained immediately after receiving the unlawful benefit in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. 

Currently, the issue of notifying him of suspicion under part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region with operational support from the Bila Tserkva Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
