Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of the Izium district, who transmitted information about the location of Ukrainian military personnel to a representative of the Russian Federation via Telegram, has been notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Under the guise of business trips, the individual moved through the territory of the Kharkiv region, recorded the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units, marked their whereabouts on Google Maps, and sent the coordinates to the enemy. He paid particular attention to military facilities in the Izium direction – this data was intended to be used by the occupiers for shelling and organizing assault actions.

Law enforcement officers detained the man in Kharkiv, and a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail has been chosen for him.

The investigation is currently completed. The indictment has been sent to the court for consideration.

The pre-trial investigation and operational support were carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
