The railway was exposed to the enemy of fortifications and military equipment in Kharkiv and Sumy regions

Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a suspicion has been announced against an engineer-installer of the branch of "Ukrzaliznytsia," who collaborated with the enemy.
He is charged with treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect established contact via Telegram with a representative of the special services of the aggressor state. Carrying out his tasks, he collected and transmitted information about the location of personnel and equipment of the Defense Forces, as well as about fortifications and engineering structures in the territories of Kharkiv and Sumy regions. During repair work on the tracks in the border areas of these regions, he secretly gathered this intelligence. He sent the information in the form of coordinates, photographs, and text messages.
Law enforcement officers detained the man in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The court granted the prosecutor's request: the suspect was chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation and operational support are conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
