In Lviv region, 667 hectares of water fund land have been used for years without proper legal grounds. The court granted the lawsuit of the Zhovkva District Prosecutor's Office and recognized the use of the Dobrotvir Reservoir and adjacent areas by one of the enterprises as illegal.

This concerns three plots of land in the territories of the Kam'yanka-Buzka and Dobrotvir communities, where the Dobrotvir Reservoir is located.

It has been established that one of the enterprises had been conducting fishery activities on the water fund lands for a long time without formalized legal grounds. As a result, no rent payments or other mandatory fees were received by the budget.

This became the basis for the prosecutors' intervention.

The Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office ensured participation in the case, proving the illegality of the enterprise's use of the Dobrotvir Reservoir.

By the decision of the Economic Court of Lviv Region, the fishery activities of the company on these lands have been prohibited, and the plots are to be returned to the state.
