The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court based on materials from the Office of the Prosecutor General regarding the imposition of sanctions against the current senator of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation from the executive body of the Kostroma region.
The lawsuit provides for the recovery in favor of the state of the claim rights under contracts totaling over 95 million UAH. These assets belong to a company controlled by a Russian non-resident and relate to the Ukrainian LLC "Motordetal-Konotop".
The pre-trial investigation has established that the Russian politician organized the supply of spare parts for automotive equipment to the Russian Federation from a Ukrainian enterprise under his control. Subsequently, they were used in the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country for the production of military equipment.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings regarding the financing of actions aimed at changing the borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine in violation of the procedure established by the Constitution of Ukraine (Article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being conducted by investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that earlier, also based on materials from the Office of the Prosecutor General, the corporate rights of LLC "Motordetal-Konotop" belonging to the senator were nationalized, with assets exceeding 500 million UAH.
