According to the facts of a massive UAV strike on Odessa and the Cherkasy rocket attack, an investigation was launched

On the night of July 24, the armed forces of the Russian Federation attacked Odesa with strike drones. It has been preliminarily established that the enemy used over 30 UAVs.
As a result of the attack, four local residents were injured. Information regarding other possible victims is being clarified.
The attack caused significant damage to the city's civilian infrastructure. In particular, a nine-story residential building was damaged – apartments on the 5th to 8th floors were destroyed. Office premises, a gas station, a two-story building, and trade pavilions at the "Privoz" market were also damaged.
Additionally, damage to historical buildings in the city center has been recorded, including architectural monuments that are under UNESCO protection.
Currently, an examination of the sites is ongoing, and the full extent of the damage and destruction is being assessed. Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the enemy attack.
Also, on the night of July 24, 2025, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike on Cherkasy.
Seven people were injured, including a 9-year-old child.
Residential infrastructure was damaged. According to preliminary data, 15 private and multi-story buildings, garage premises, and 13 vehicles were affected.
The consequences of yet another war crime by the aggressor state are being documented by prosecutors, police officers, and the Security Service of Ukraine, with specialists from the State Emergency Service also working at the site.
Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa and Cherkasy regional prosecutors' offices, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the shelling (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
All facts of the war crimes committed by the Russian Federation will be documented and submitted to the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
