Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a citizen has been notified of suspicion for promising to influence members of the military-medical commission at one of the regional TCCs and SPs in order to arrange for the citizen to receive a disability group. He valued his "services" at 10,000 US dollars.

Law enforcement officers detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine immediately after receiving the funds.

The suspect is charged with abuse of influence (Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, he has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region with operational support from the Department of Combating Corruption of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
