Under the procedural guidance of the Holosiivskyi District Prosecutor's Office, a 26-year-old resident of the capital has been notified of suspicion for organizing the illegal transportation of conscription-age individuals across the state border of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect offered two options for traveling to Moldova. The first was to wait a few days at the border for a person who would show how to cross the border on foot. The second was to get a position as a masseur or in another role on a football team, thus allowing for departure. He did not disclose which team he suggested for employment, trying to provide the client with as few details about the trip as possible. For such services, he charged $10,000.
Ultimately, they agreed on a pedestrian crossing of the border outside the checkpoint. The cost included services for organizing the route, transportation to the border, providing instructions for crossing the border, and ensuring unhindered departure from the territory of Ukraine.
The man was detained in Kyiv while receiving the entire agreed sum.
Currently, the suspect has been placed in custody with the option of bail.
The full circle of individuals involved in this scheme is being established.
