Russian troops attacked a humanitarian aid delivery point in the Kherson region

According to the investigation, on January 5, 2026, at approximately 10:30, the occupying forces struck a humanitarian aid distribution point in one of the settlements of the Daryivka community in the Kherson region with drones. As a result of the dropping of explosive devices, a 64-year-old man was killed. Two other civilians were injured — a 79-year-old woman and a 71-year-old man.

Prosecutors, together with investigators, continue to document war crimes committed by servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces. Under the procedural guidance of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime that resulted in a person's death (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
