On June 26, 2025, the Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko signed an order for the reorganization of the Department of Criminal Policy and Investment Protection. According to the Attorney General, this unit, which was supposed to play a key role in ensuring rights for investors and businesses, did not meet expectations.

Ruslan Kravchenko emphasized that the reorganization in no way halts the fulfillment of all obligations of the prosecution authorities within the framework of European integration processes.
He noted that business requires transparent rules, predictability, and effective protection.

“Our focus is mediation. I will ensure lawful communication with business and fairness. This will also be the responsibility of my deputies, heads of relevant structural units, and at the local level - heads of regional prosecutor's offices, not just one department as it was before. This will become a real interaction for addressing urgent issues,” stated the Attorney General.
