In Odessa, at the request of the prosecutor's office, they arrested the suspect in the state community
15.09.2025
At the request of the prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court has taken into custody a woman suspected of treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
During the investigation, it was established that in 2025, a resident of the city voluntarily agreed to cooperate with the Russian special services, as she held pro-Russian views and wanted Odesa to be "liberated" from Ukrainians.
The 61-year-old woman communicated with an enemy agent via "Telegram".
Carrying out regular tasks, the Odesa resident identified locations, the number of air defense systems, tracked the movement of military equipment, the venues, purposes, and number of participants in protests. Allegedly, while passing by, she observed and recorded the license plates of cars parked near military enlistment offices and military prosecutor's offices.
She repeatedly transmitted information to the enemy about the involvement of foreign military personnel, places of residence, hangars, and the consequences of air attacks. She photographed, recorded, screenshot, and sent all this along with coordinates.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
