Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the pre-trial investigation has been completed, and indictments have been sent to court against the organizer and five members of the organized group.

The investigation established that six members of the organized group illegally manufactured tobacco products and alcohol at home, selling them in Vinnytsia and other regions of Ukraine. 

During the searches, equipment, 15,000 packs of cigarettes, 4 million filter tubes, 50,000 ready-made cigarettes, over a ton of tobacco, cardboard packaging, as well as 4,000 liters of alcohol and counterfeit alcoholic beverages were seized.

The actions of the individuals have been classified under parts 1 and 2 of Article 204. They face a penalty of imprisonment for up to 5 years, along with confiscation and destruction of illegally produced goods, production tools, and raw materials for their manufacture.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Vinnytsia region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region. 

We remind you that according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
