A 16-year-old boy was beaten in Vinnytsia. Suspicion was reported to one person involved

The incident occurred on the evening of December 21, 2025. 

The suspect was at the shopping mall with a group of individuals aged between 13 and 19 years. By provoking a conflict, he threatened the victim and forced him to go to the underground parking lot, where he was attacked by a crowd.

The teenagers were stopped by a random witness. The group left the premises, but after exiting the shopping mall, the teenagers knocked the boy to the ground again and continued to strike him. 

The criminal actions were recorded on video and shared on social media.

According to the medical report, the victim sustained bruises to the head, face, and limbs, abrasions, a closed head injury, and a concussion. 

By order of the head of the Vinnytsia District Prosecutor's Office, Roman Udovichenko, a 16-year-old participant in the conflict has been notified of suspicion. 

The suspect is charged with a gross violation of public order motivated by a blatant disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity, committed by a group of individuals (Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors are preparing a motion to the court for the application of a preventive measure against him.

As of today, six participants in the conflict have been identified: five boys and one girl. Their roles in the commission of the offense are being verified to provide an objective legal assessment of each individual's actions. 

The group of prosecutors in the criminal proceedings is led by the head of the Vinnytsia District Prosecutor's Office, Roman Udovichenko. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Vinnytsia District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Vinnytsia region.
