On August 24, 2025, in one of the parks in Dnipro, an installation in the shape of a chair fell on a child.

As a result of the fall, a 9-year-old girl sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized in the regional hospital.

Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors of the Right Bank District Prosecutor's Office of Dnipro, a criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the improper performance of duties concerning the protection of children's lives and health and official negligence (Part 2 of Article 137, Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and all circumstances of the incident are being established. 

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Dnipro District Police Department No. 1 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
