Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Mykolaiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, on October 1, 2025, two individuals were notified of suspicion for committing treason in conditions of martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the suspects, working at a strategically important defense enterprise, systematically collected and transmitted information that constitutes a state secret to representatives of the aggressor country's special services.

They documented production workshops, the locations of equipment, and security posts in photos and videos, as well as sent their curators the coordinates of defense-related facilities.

In addition, the perpetrators provided the enemy with information about the location and movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine units in the southern part of the country, the results of enemy shelling, and the consequences of strikes on critical infrastructure.

During a series of counterintelligence measures, the SBU officers documented their criminal activities. 

The traitors were detained on October 1, 2025, in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

During searches, law enforcement seized mobile phones containing evidence of cooperation with representatives of the aggressor state.

Currently, both suspects have been taken into custody without the right to bail.

They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region.
