Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, three servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces have been notified of suspicion for violating the laws and customs of war (parts 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, a 34-year-old suspect, on February 27, 2022, together with currently unidentified servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces, fired nearly twenty shots from automatic firearms at a "Mercedes Sprinter" vehicle on the road between the gardening society "Mriya" and the village of Zdvizhivka in the Bucha district. As a result of the injuries sustained, two men died, and two others were injured.

Another 23-year-old suspect threatened to kill a local resident on March 28, 2022, in the temporarily occupied village of Hostomel in the Bucha district, and shot at two men with firearms.

Additionally, a 48-year-old suspect, with the aim of occupying the village of Ivankiv in the Vyshhorod district and the village of Shybyn in the Bucha district, issued criminal orders to subordinate servicemen of the Russian Federation regarding the brutal treatment of civilians.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, with operational support from the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Department "D" of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region, the Department of Criminal Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine, and the State Border Service of Ukraine.
