Under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a physical person-entrepreneur and the director of the company have been notified of suspicion.

According to the investigation, in 2024, funds were allocated from the regional budget for the capital repair of one of the departments of a children's medical facility in Lviv. According to the contract, the contracting company was obliged to carry out the work.

At the same time, the entrepreneur was responsible for conducting technical supervision of the project.

Despite this, the suspect, improperly fulfilling her official duties, did not exercise proper control over the actual volumes, costs of the completed work, and the construction materials used.

As a result – she unlawfully signed the act of completed work provided by the company's director with false data, as in reality, part of the work had not been completed.

Subsequently, based on the forged document, nearly 1 million UAH was unlawfully transferred to the contractor's account, causing damage to the budget in that amount.

On the fact of official negligence (part 2 of article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), a physical person-entrepreneur has been notified of suspicion. The director of the contracting company is charged with misappropriation of someone else's property and official forgery of official documents       (part 5 of article 191, part 1 of article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Investigative actions are ongoing. The issue of appointing preventive measures for the individuals involved is being resolved.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region with operational support from the UCR in the Lviv region of the National Police of Ukraine.

Note: according to article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
