The prosecutor's council recommended for the appointment of three deputies of the Prosecutor General

The Council of Prosecutors of Ukraine, at a meeting, made a decision to provide recommendations for the appointment of Maxim Krym, Maria Vdovichenko, and Andriy Leshchenko as Deputy Prosecutors General.

The Prosecutor General agreed with this decision and on June 24, 2025, signed orders for their appointment to the positions of Deputy Prosecutors General.

Each of the deputies is assigned a specific area of work within the prosecution bodies for which they will be responsible.

Prior to this, Maxim Krym held the position of head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Maria Vdovichenko served as the acting head of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, and Andriy Leshchenko worked in a leadership position in the Department for Combating Crimes Committed in the Context of Armed Conflict at the Office of the Prosecutor General.

On June 25, the Deputy Prosecutors General began to perform their duties.
