Prosecutors recorded the effects of enemy attacks in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk region

On August 25, 2025, around 5:00 AM, a Russian drone attacked a private car in the village of Nova Sloboda in the Konotop district of Sumy region. A 37-year-old driver was killed, and a 56-year-old woman and her 62-year-old husband were injured.

Yesterday, on August 24, Russian troops launched UAVs at the Dubovikivska, Mezivska, and Malomykhailivska communities in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the strikes, a woman was killed, and a business and private houses were damaged. The Nikopol district was attacked by the aggressor using FPV drones and artillery, damaging a five-story residential building.

On August 23, the occupiers struck the Malomykhailivska and Pokrovsk communities in the same district. A man was killed, and nine others, including a 10-year-old child, were injured. Residential houses, a car, and an educational institution were damaged.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting war crimes and the consequences of the attacks.

Preliminary investigations are being conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region and the Konotop district police department under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office and the Konotop district prosecutor's office (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
