On the night of August 19 to 20, the Russian Federation massively attacked the Sumy and Odesa regions with drones.

From 00:05 to 00:18, the occupiers attacked the private sector in the city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region, with UAVs. Fourteen people sought medical assistance, including a family with three children - a 5-month-old, a 4-year-old, and a 6-year-old boy. Residential houses were damaged or destroyed.

The enemy also attacked the city of Izmail with strike drones. As a result of the strikes, a fuel and energy infrastructure facility was damaged. One person was injured in the attack. The injured individual was hospitalized. The fire was localized by the State Emergency Service employees in the Odesa region.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the attack.

Under the procedural guidance of the Okhtyrka and Izmail district prosecutors, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the facts of committing war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
