Prosecutors reported suspicions to 6 officials who were charged with the task of losses of the capital of the capital and a private enterprise for over UAH 46 million

On Monday, the systematic work of the capital's law enforcement agencies continued to expose abuses in the capital's communal enterprises. Thus, prosecutors from the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, together with police investigators under the operational support of the SBU and the UCR of the National Police of Ukraine, reported suspicions against 6 officials, 3 of whom were detained.
In particular, a state registrar from the Department of Registration Issues of the Kyiv City State Administration received a notice of suspicion for the illegal re-registration of ownership rights to a land plot in the center of the capital. Her actions were qualified under part 3 of Article 15, part 4 of Article 190, part 3 of Article 362, and part 3 of Article 365-2 of the Criminal Code – aiding and abetting fraud, abuse of office, and unauthorized alteration of information in automated systems.
The detained individuals received suspicions under part 4 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine against 3 officials:
- the head of the KP "SHEU of the Desnyansky District of Kyiv";
- the director of the Ukrainian State Research and Design Institute "NDIPROEKTREKONSTRUKTSIYA";
- an official from the Education Department of the Obolon District State Administration.
Two officials from communal enterprises received suspicions under part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, specifically:
- the head of the public procurement department of the specialized communal enterprise "Kyivteleservis";
- the director of the Municipal Academic Chamber Choir "Kyiv".
Prosecutors will submit motions to the courts for the suspension of the suspects from their positions.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
