Prosecutors of the Solomiansky District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv have notified the deputy general director of the KP "Informatika" of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Executive Body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) of suspicion. He is suspected of official negligence, which caused damages to the territorial community amounting to 2.1 million hryvnias.

The actions of the suspect have been qualified under part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

An expert examination confirmed that the municipal enterprise purchased computer equipment at prices higher than market rates, which resulted in damages to the territorial community of the city of Kyiv exceeding 2.1 million hryvnias.

Currently, the prosecution has prepared a motion to the court for the selection of a preventive measure for the suspect and his suspension from the position held.

Under the procedural guidance of the Solomiansky District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv, the pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Solomiansky Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, with operational support from the Criminal Investigation Department in Kyiv of the National Police of Ukraine.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
