Prosecutors record the consequences of the air strike on Kharkiv: two dead, six injured, including a child

Under the procedural guidance of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation has established that on December 26, at approximately 15:50, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out an airstrike on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv.

As a result of the attack, two men were killed. One of them was driving a car. The blast wave threw the vehicle several dozen meters away. The second deceased was an employee of a service station.

Six other people were injured, including a nine-month-old girl.

The service station, vehicles, and windows in apartment buildings were damaged.

According to preliminary information, the Russian forces struck the city from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

Prosecutors, police investigators, and relevant services are working at the scene.
