Prosecutors proved the guilt of women in adjusting rocket-arable attacks of the Russian Federation-she was sentenced to 15 years in prison

With the support of the public prosecution by prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, the court found a citizen of Ukraine guilty of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment without confiscation of property.

Prosecutors in court proved that the occupiers remotely recruited the woman to adjust missile and drone attacks by the Russian Federation on the capital region.

Having purchased a mini wi-fi video camera with online streaming for money from the FSB, the convicted woman arrived at one of the military facilities of the SBU to establish a "observation point" near it, but was unable to do so after noticing surveillance cameras.

The woman also conducted reconnaissance following one of the night attacks by the Russian Federation and surveyed the locations of radar systems at one of the air bases.

At the request of the Russian special services, the convicted woman acquired a number of SIM cards from one of the Ukrainian mobile operators, activated them, and sent them to Kyrgyzstan for further redirecting to the Russian Federation.

Despite the court finding the citizen guilty of a particularly serious crime committed for mercenary motives, no additional punishment in the form of property confiscation was imposed. For this reason, the prosecutors appealed the verdict to the appellate court.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by investigators of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU with operational support from the Department of Counterintelligence Protection of State Interests in the Field of Information Security of the SBU.
