Donetsk prosecutors reported the suspicion of the Russian Federation informant, which transmitted data for blows to the Armed Forces

Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported suspicion against a local resident for treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the request of the prosecution, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.

According to the investigation, in February 2025, the woman contacted a serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces via the messenger "Telegram" – a former acquaintance of her deceased son. At his request, she agreed to collect and transmit information for adjusting enemy strikes on the frontline region.

The pensioner sent coordinates of the locations of the Defense Forces and National Police units, informed about the movement of military equipment, and reported on the location of civilian infrastructure in the settlement. She regularly transmitted the obtained data to her "curator" from the Russian special services.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
