Prosecutors document the consequences of the next large -scale attack of the Russian Federation in the peaceful cities of Ukraine

On the night of July 11 to 12, the Russian military carried out a combined attack on the cities of Ukraine using strike drones, cruise missiles, and aerial bombs.

Chernivtsi Region
At dawn on July 12, Russia struck the Chernivtsi region, using a cruise missile and unmanned aerial vehicles. According to preliminary information, two people were killed — a 43-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman. Two more individuals are in extremely serious condition, and 10 have sustained minor injuries.

As a result of the strikes in Chernivtsi, a kindergarten, a nine-story building, residential houses, administrative buildings, shops, and vehicles were damaged.

In the Storozhynets territorial community, a residential building and a vehicle were damaged. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Lviv
As a result of the enemy attack, an industrial enterprise and a residential building were damaged. The shockwave also affected the premises of district courts and another residential building. Currently, there are no reported casualties from the incident.

Kharkiv
The armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a combined attack on the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Aviation strikes were conducted: two KABs were recorded hitting the territory of civilian enterprises, causing fires.

The city was also attacked by Russian drones. A garage caught fire, a car was damaged, as well as the city lighting networks and window glazing in residential buildings.

As a result of these strikes on the city, three men aged 33, 47, and 55 were injured.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

In the morning of July 12, the enemy attacked the Velykomykhailivka territorial community in the Synelnykove district. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed. A private house and a car were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Chernivtsi, Lviv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regional and district prosecutors, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the facts of the shelling (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

All facts of the war crimes committed by the Russian Federation will be documented and submitted to the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
