Dnipro prosecutors reported suspicion of the Russian Federation to the enemy's data on air defense and energy entities

Prosecutors in Dnipro have reported suspicion against a native of the Russian Federation, who, while working as an installer at critical infrastructure facilities, collaborated with representatives of the Russian special services. He is charged with treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect transmitted precise coordinates and information about the state of energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions to the enemy via the Telegram messenger. He also sent his curator screenshots with geolocations of the locations of military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the placement of the air defense system.
During searches at his residence, mobile phones with evidence of involvement in illegal activities were seized.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. At the prosecutor's request, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
