Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, over 5 million UAH in damages caused to the state budget due to tax evasion has been recovered.

According to the investigation, an individual developer, while constructing a residential complex, did not reflect in the tax reporting the income from the sale of property rights to real estate. Under the guise of providing construction services under joint participation agreements, he intentionally evaded paying personal income tax and military tax.

The amount of damages caused to the state—over 5 million UAH—has been confirmed by the conclusion of a forensic economic examination.

After being notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (evasion of payment of taxes, fees, mandatory payments), the suspect fully compensated for the damages caused.

The criminal proceedings have been sent to court.

The pre-trial investigation in the proceedings was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Kyiv region.
