Juvenile prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office are conducting procedural oversight in a criminal proceeding against a man suspected of committing a serious crime against the sexual freedom and inviolability of a minor (Part 3 of Article 152, Part 2 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

According to the investigation, in August 2018, the accused committed sexual acts against a 17-year-old girl without her voluntary consent. Law enforcement officials informed him of the suspicion, but in November 2018, the man illegally left the territory of Ukraine and traveled to the Russian Federation, and later to the Federal Republic of Germany.

In December 2025, the suspect was extradited to Ukraine. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.

For his actions, the man faces up to 12 years of imprisonment.
