The Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has protected the interests of the state and returned the Hrechano-Hrebelske reservoir, covering an area of 511 hectares, to legal use.

Prosecutors established that a limited liability company had been unlawfully using this water body for a long time, without any legal rights to do so. To carry out fishery activities, a decision from the authorized body is required, which would allow for paid use of the water fund. The company had not received any such grounds.

In light of this, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit in court for the release of the reservoir.

The court supported the prosecutor's position and fully satisfied the claim.

Illegal use has been terminated.
