Under the procedural guidance of juvenile prosecutors from the Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor's Office, law enforcement prevented a terrorist act in the central part of Zhytomyr, which Russian special services attempted to involve a minor resident of Berdychiv in.

The 16-year-old girl received an offer to "earn extra money" via "Telegram" from individuals acting in the interests of the aggressor state. She was supposed to rent an apartment, purchase certain substances, and other items.

Suspecting that she was being drawn into illegal activities, the girl contacted law enforcement and subsequently acted solely under their control. This allowed for the timely prevention of the terrorist act.

Investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the crime and the individuals involved. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office in conjunction with the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zhytomyr region.

Law enforcement urges vigilance and immediate reporting of suspicious offers to the authorities. Individuals who voluntarily seek help and prevent a crime will not bear criminal responsibility.
