Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Odesa Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the defense sector of the Southern region, a former director of one of the private enterprises has been notified of suspicion and detained.

According to the investigation, the suspect organized the supply of 20 tons of substandard butter to military units of the National Guard in Odesa. To do this, she used forged documents and misled officials. Her actions resulted in losses to the state exceeding 7.1 million UAH.

The woman has been notified of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 190 and Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A motion is being prepared for the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.

As part of the criminal proceedings, 15 searches have been conducted in the Poltava, Kyiv, and Cherkasy regions, including at the suspect's residence, in the military unit of the National Guard, and at the addresses of individuals involved in the conclusion and execution of contracts. Computer equipment, information carriers, mobile phones, and documentation relevant to establishing the circumstances of the crime have been seized.

The investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Territorial Department of the State Bureau of Investigation in Mykolaiv with operational support from the Bureau's employees.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
