Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipro Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern region, on June 30, a suspicion was announced under part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine against the Deputy Chief Engineer for Energy Conservation and Energy Supply of the Pavlohrad Mechanical Plant of the State Enterprise "Southern Machine-Building Plant named after O.M. Makarov".

During the investigation conducted by the investigators of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, it was established that the official, in the interests of one of the LLCs, formed an inflated cost for transformers (400kVA, 630kVA, 1000kVA) during the procurement of goods, knowing for certain that their market price was significantly lower.

Additionally, abusing her official position, she determined the Company as having offered the lowest price proposal, which became the basis for concluding supply contracts at an inflated price. As a result of the illegal actions of the suspect, the state incurred property damage in the form of excessively paid budget funds amounting to over 968 thousand UAH.

Pre-trial investigation is ongoing. A motion for the selection of a preventive measure is being prepared for court.
