Organized the crossing of the evilies using the disability of the cohabitant-they will judge a resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region

Prosecutors of the Kalush District Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court against a 62-year-old man who organized a scheme for smuggling conscripts across the state border, taking advantage of the vulnerable condition of his cohabitant — a woman with a Group I disability, on whom he had a psychological influence.

He is charged under Part 1 of Article 149, Part 3 of Article 332, Part 2 of Article 15, and Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

It has been established that the accused sought individuals who had no legal grounds for leaving Ukraine and, for 10,000 US dollars, facilitated the arrangement of a fictitious marriage with a woman. Subsequently, the "clients" crossed the border as accompanying persons for the individual with a disability.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Dolyna Police Department of the Kalush Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
