On the afternoon of August 28, 2025, Russian troops struck the territory of the Malomykhailivka community in the Synelnykove district with cluster munitions. As a result of the attack, one man was killed, and four others were injured. Residential houses were damaged.

In the Pokrovsk community of the Synelnykove district, a man was injured, and the village culture house, kindergarten, cars, and private homes were damaged.

Additionally, during the shelling of the Nikopol district, another man was injured, and residential houses and a business were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office, criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding the war crime (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
