In the Kherson region, the invaders hit the drones on a civilian car and the UN mission trucks, there were wounded - proceedings have been started

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of the Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on October 14, 2025, at approximately 09:30, Russian military forces dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a taxi in the city of Kherson.

As a result of the explosion, two civilians—a 67-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman—who were in the vehicle sustained injuries of varying severity. 

Additionally, at the same time, the enemy launched an attack with a UAV on two trucks of the UN Representation in Ukraine, which were moving between settlements in the Kherson region with humanitarian aid.

As a result of the strike, the vehicles were damaged and caught fire. According to preliminary data, there are no human casualties.

Prosecutors, together with police investigators, are conducting urgent investigative actions to document yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.
