The Commercial Court of Kyiv Region granted the lawsuit of the head of the Poltava Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Central Region and ordered the private company to return over 1.3 million UAH to the state.

It was established that a contract for the supply of fuel and lubricants worth over 7 million UAH was concluded between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the enterprise. Despite the fact that according to the legislation during the state of martial law, goods for refueling and re-fueling vehicles are subject to VAT at a zero rate, 1.377 million UAH of value-added tax was unjustifiably transferred to the company's account.

The prosecutor's office, having identified violations of the economic interests of the state, appealed to the court with a demand to return these funds to the budget, taking into account inflation losses and 3% annual interest for the delay.

Thanks to the principled position of the prosecutor, on August 25, 2025, the specified amount was fully reimbursed to the state represented by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The pre-trial investigation and representation of the interests of the state were carried out by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Central Region.
