In particular, indictments have been sent to the courts regarding 7 representatives of the occupying forces: servicemen of military unit 74854 of the Russian Armed Forces; participants of illegal armed formations of the "DPR"; employees of the correctional colony. Another military commissioner of the "DPR" has been notified of suspicion.

They are charged with violations of the laws and customs of war (part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

During the capture of settlements in the region, representatives of the enemy army committed atrocities against local residents. Rape, brutal beating of 3 Ukrainian servicemen, torture of those held in the "Kalinin Correctional Colony" in Horlivka, sending residents of occupied Donetsk and Khartsyzk to the front.

Lawlessness and torture of people have become the norm even in places of confinement created under occupation.

Prosecutors of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office continue to identify criminals and gather substantial evidence to hold each of them accountable.
