In Dnipropetrovsk, a man was detained who installed an online camera and passed the enemy's movement of echelons of the Armed Forces

A resident of Pavlohrad received a task via Telegram from an employee of the Russian special services — to transmit information about the movement of Ukrainian military convoys for a monetary reward.

On July 17, 2025, while near a railway section in the Pavlohrad district, the suspect recorded the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on video.

To systematically collect and transmit data, he installed a mobile phone with a SIM card on one of the railway sections. The device was supposed to automatically conduct online video recording of the movement of military equipment and personnel. The information obtained in this way was transmitted to the enemy.

In addition, he transmitted video footage showing the locations of the SBU and police administrative buildings.

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, he has been notified of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The suspect has been chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the SBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
