Crimea. Every story is proof. Every testimony is a step towards justice.

After the occupation of Crimea, thousands of people were forced to leave their homes. Not always to the sounds of explosions – sometimes out of fear, court decisions, or pressure that made them silently pack their bags. Yet even far from home, they did not lose Crimea – it lives on in language, in memories, in a truth that cannot be erased.

This is the first video of the media project "War Crimes in Crimea," created with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.

In this video, actor and director Akhtem Seitablaev talks about what it means to lose a home and why deportation is not just a forced departure, but a war crime that must be punished. The video aims to clarify to the residents of Crimea the status of victims of war crimes and the steps to take to protect their rights violated by the occupiers.

Each story is evidence. Each testimony is a step towards justice.
