Prosecutors of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, based on materials from the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, have notified a resident of the capital of suspicion for collaborating with representatives of the Russian special services.

He is accused of treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The suspect transmitted precise coordinates and information with geolocations of the locations of military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kyiv to the enemy via Telegram. The "clients" were also interested in other military facilities and critical infrastructure sites, as well as locations of air defense systems. In total, at the request of the Russian special services, the young man carried out eight reconnaissance tasks.

Law enforcement officers detained the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Currently, he has been chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention without the possibility of bail.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region based on materials from the Main Directorate "D" of the Intelligence Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
