The general director of KAMAZ PJSC was notified of suspicion of aiding the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

The prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General have established facts regarding the supply of military equipment for the needs of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
The pre-trial investigation has established that from February 24, 2022, to the present, the general director of the public joint-stock company "KAMAZ" (which is part of the structure of the State Corporation "Rostec"), acting intentionally and being aware of the fact of armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, organized the supply of significant volumes of automotive equipment for the needs of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
In particular, it concerns at least 15,000 types of automotive equipment, including:
- over 12,000 units of trucks,
- more than 2,000 tractor units,
- over 400 dump trucks,
- about 1,000 modified vehicles.
In addition, the suspect organized large-scale technical and mechanical modifications, as well as the supply of other equipment to meet the logistical and rear needs of the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
The actions of the suspect have been qualified under part 5 of article 27 and part 2 of article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding in the conduct of aggressive war).
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine with operational support from the Department of Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Ukraine continues to hold accountable those involved in the aggression of the Russian Federation.
Everyone who contributes to the war will be held accountable under the law.
