The Ministry of Defense's exponent was informed of suspicion of supply of the Armed Forces of unsuitable pressing missile units

A former official of the Ministry of Defense and former leaders of a defense enterprise have been notified of suspicion. They supplied unusable missile systems and caused damage to the state amounting to 90 million UAH.

The Office of the Prosecutor General is conducting procedural oversight of the pre-trial investigation into the case regarding the supply of unusable anti-tank missile systems to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for over 90 million UAH. In fact, the state has suffered damage in the same amount.

The jurisdiction of the criminal offenses in this criminal proceeding has been determined by the investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the investigation, the involvement in this crime of a former head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Defense and two former leaders of the defense enterprise has been established.

Investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, with operational support from the Department of Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine, have notified the mentioned individuals of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 114-1, Part 5 of Article 191, and Part 2 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The High Anti-Corruption Court has applied preventive measures in the form of bail in the amounts of 908.4 thousand UAH and 575.32 thousand UAH to the suspects – former leaders of the defense enterprise.

Regarding the former official of the Ministry of Defense, a motion has been filed for the selection of a preventive measure in the form of bail in the amount of 5.011 million UAH. The hearing is scheduled for today — July 7.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
