The Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of the Prosecutor General's Office has already ensured the return of 8 plots of land to the state within the ski and tourist complex "Myhovo" in the Chernivtsi region.

At the end of 2022, based on forged documents, the ownership rights of individuals were registered for 14 plots of forest management purpose from one of the forestry enterprises of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine". 

To return this land to state ownership, prosecutors from the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office prepared three lawsuits and argued the illegality of their removal from state ownership in court.

Currently, the decisions of the Vyzhnytsia District Court of Chernivtsi region have fully satisfied two lawsuits, one of the decisions has already been executed, and 8 plots of land have been returned to state ownership. 

Another lawsuit by the prosecutor regarding 6 plots is under consideration in this court.

In total, to protect forest resources, prosecutors have filed over 300 lawsuits this year covering an area of more than  7,500 hectares.
