Two dead women, another 14 people were injured - an investigation into Russian attack on Kiev was launched on July 10

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of a war crime by the Russian Federation, which resulted in the loss of life (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Around one o'clock in the morning on July 10, the armed forces of the Russian Federation once again attacked the capital using UAVs.
As a result of the massive attack on Kyiv, two women – aged 68 and 22 – were killed, and at least 14 other people were injured.
Damage to residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, and vehicles has been recorded in the Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital.
In particular, multi-storey residential buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi and Podilskyi districts.
In the Desnianskyi district, the building of a veterinary medicine hospital was damaged, and a fire occurred in a garage cooperative in the Darnytskyi district. In the Dniprovskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, debris from UAVs fell on the territory of a school. Additionally, in the Shevchenkivskyi district, a shopping center and the entrance to a metro station were damaged – windows were shattered in the buildings.
It should be noted that in one of the districts, a UAV was shot down with a CRPA antenna and camera.
The final consequences of the attack on the capital are being established. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the destruction and documenting yet another war crime.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
