By the age of 15, a grenade launcher was condemned by the occupying army, who fought against the Armed Forces in Donetsk region

A verdict has been issued against a man for treason and collaboration activities (parts 1, 2 of Article 111, part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) by the public prosecution of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office. He has been sentenced to 15 years in prison with deprivation of the right to hold positions in state authorities, state administration, local self-government related to the provision of public services, and the performance of organizational, administrative, and economic functions, for 12 years with confiscation of property.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man joined the ranks of the occupiers, taking the position of a shooter in the "people's militia of the LPR," where he held the position of a shooter. For a year, he served at checkpoints and was involved in unloading ammunition.

In March 2023, the convicted man transferred to the position of a grenade launcher and carried out combat duty at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, during which he shelled and stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, he guarded military training grounds, controlling the access regime.

In the fall of 2024, he was detained by servicemen of the Defense Forces in the Bakhmut district.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The man awaited the court's verdict in custody.
